About Us

At Omillume, we create light fixtures that go beyond form and function.

Omillume started in 2017 as a natural progression for Omgivning, one of Los Angeles’ most forward-thinking architecture and interior-design firms.

Omillume was founded by Karin Liljegren, the founder of Omgivning, in collaboration with Solomon Mansoor, the founder of Straight Designs. Liljegren and co-designer Norella Carboni, Omgivning’s design director, wanted to solve multiple challenges in the lighting market.

Omillume is a wish list for good lighting—made into a product line.
